Director of Marketing & Communications

Pennsylvania Highlands Community College

Creates and increases brand awareness through the development and implementation of marketing plans for all facilities and athletic programs.

Provides creative direction for all branding efforts (i.e. publications, ads, website, and social media). This includes the design and production of all recruitment pieces.

Oversees the College’s online presence (including social media, the website, and the online College Catalog).

Develops and maintains positive media relationships. This includes writing and distributing all media releases.

Manages a six-figure marketing budget that includes five physical locations, one online campus, and all athletic programs.

Oversees all additional aspects of the Marketing & Communications Department.

This degree provided me with a solid foundation in creative copywriting and design, media planning, audience insights and analysis, and campaigns. After graduation, I was prepared for anything, especially in advertising and marketing agencies, in media advertising sales, within a corporate communications office, as a media planner, or as a consultant.
